Abbyson announced this week that it has hired Bill Ashton as its new Vice President of Operations.
Ashton will be responsible for managing EDI, fulfillment, inventory planning, order management, procurement, transportation, distribution centers and customer service.
He comes to the role with extensive experience in global supply chain management and logistics. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for The Honest Company, where he led supply chain and logistics development.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Distribution for Restoration Hardware, where he helped grow the company from 20 employees and six stores to more than 240 stores nationwide in just five years.

One of Ashton’s responsibilities will be managing Abbyson’s new distribution center in Redlands, CA, which added more than 350,000 square feet to the company’s existing 1 million square feet of inventory. Rafieha said this expansion will help the company optimize its e-commerce process.
